Year end Bonuses

I have never recieved a year end bonus.  The company I work for hands out year end bonuses at the end of 1^st quarter of the next year.  So it never feels like a Christmas bonus, but an Easter bonus, and that’s ok with me.

Well, this year I have recieved the following information in the last day or so.

• Bonus for completion of major project will be given by end of year
• Vacation buyout will occur on the next paycheck
• I am having my job title retroactively promoted, along with a pay increase.  Pay increase will be reflected in the year end paycheck.

I guess this means I’m taking my friends out to celebrate.
